7/4/2023 0 Comments All korean maplestory classesAnd that’s terrible.Īlso, EMS and SEA are worse than GMS by virtue of their regions being too smart or too poor, respectively, to waste money on this shit.MapleStory is a free to play 2D side-scrolling MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online role-playing game) with real time gameplay that combines action and traditional RPG elements, developed by the South Korean company Wizet. Our culture that no longer cares about such things is what’s corrupted and destroyed the once somewhat decent GMS. It ultimately comes down to caring about people. Unfortunately, American workers AREN’T treated well, and as a result neither are the American players of GMS. Suffice it to say, workers being treated well tends to result in a higher quality product. This led to many a death from workers not being able to escape in the event of a fire. We used to do things like that, like how businesses used to lock doors to prevent workers from escaping or unionizing. It’s all about farming cash rather than actually being concerned with what players want.Īnd don’t even get me started on China, where they’re so capitalist the factories have to install suicide nets to stop workers from killing themselves due to such cruel and unusual working conditions. Suffice it to say, capitalism has not served GMS well. They also have single pay health care and, in Japan’s case, seniority makes you a god amongst men in the corporate world. Not to mention that GMS is much more capitalistic than KMS and JMS, who have permanent cash shop items instead of expiring ones. If the workers aren’t getting paid enough, don’t get good benefits and are ultimately unappreciated, why the fuck would they EVER deliver to us a quality product? It’s simply not worth their while. The problems with GMS are more likely caused by a lack of union membership. Union membership is at an all time low, and a multinational like Nexon sure as hell wouldn’t use union workers for a scam like MapleStory. Character Decks and Part Time jobs will be released. You can only gain rank by reward items given to you through these challenges. After you’ve completed each of their quests, you can fight bosses to increase your ranking with Reputation. There will be famous people from Japanese history from which you can get quests from under their family crests. There is a “Reputation” system being added alongside the Sengoku updates. You can cooperate with your friends, or you can hire AI to tag along with you on missions. The “Great Battle of Sengoku” content is modeled after Star Craft’s “Aeon of Strife” custom map. As it stands, Magicians are a pretty unpopular class, since they’re weak at bosses, so due to disgruntled opinions from players, they’ve decided to make Kanna a more boss-oriented class. Kanna’s Spiritual Power will heal naturally, rather than by means of MP potions. Instead of MP, Kanna will use Spiritual Power to attack. Kanna will fight alongside her fox companion. Since Hayato will feature speed as his main selling point, he will have small HP and defense compared to other warriors, to keep game balance in check. Hayato will use a brand new weapon called “Katana,” using Battoujutsu, or the “art of sword drawing,” meaning he will have his sword sheathed during normal poses, but will draw his sword to attack monsters. Hayato will have attacks with very huge range, meaning he will specialize in mobbing situations, but he will have to rely on dodging monster attacks to survive. It seems its main focus is being swift so it will have fast movement speed, fast attacking speed, critical rate boosts, and will have stun abilities. Hayato will be a warrior class with fast attacks. We will be getting free character slots for each of the classes. The idea of the story of the Sengoku content is a “what-if” scenario of Oda Nobunaga being a Demon King and Uesugi Kenshin being a woman. The Korean team studied a lot about Japanese history and drew from drama, anime and video games related to the Sengoku Era. The content was made in Korea and developed specifically for Japan. I’m not sure exactly what to make of these classes, but these animations are really neat. You can find the original article here : Thanks to our really good friend, Uni of Silverbullet, we have been given a tip about an article detailing the classes with a bunch of screen shots of each class.
